Quality Engineering Manager

We are looking for a strong people leader and experienced quality professional to join MCI as Quality Engineering Manager on-site in Tinglev.

MCI is located in Tinglev in the Southern part of Denmark, close to Sønderborg, Kolding, and Flensburg. We have strong local roots but act on a truly global stage. As Quality Engineering Manager, you will lead the Quality Engineering team and be responsible for developing test methods and qualification processes that ensure our products meet customer expectations for reliability and lifetime. You will be part of the Quality Management Team and collaborate closely with R&D, Production, and Test functions to drive continuous improvement and high performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and lead the newly established Quality Engineering team, ensuring strong engagement and competence development
• Oversee MCI’s quality assurance and product improvement activities
• Drive FMEA and product qualification processes for new products
• Maintain detailed knowledge of quality in R&D and report key issues to management
• Support development of test and qualification facilities in cooperation with R&D
• Ensure structured documentation and standardization of test methods

You are a technically strong and structured leader who enjoys developing both people and processes. You combine a deep understanding of product reliability with the ability to create alignment across functions and translate data into actions.

Ideally, you

• hold a degree in mechanical or quality engineering (or similar)
• have 5+ years of leadership experience
• are experienced in FMEA, reliability/lifetime testing, and qualification processes
• have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• are fluent in English (spoken and written)
• preferably hold a Six Sigma Green Belt certification

As this is a newly established position in MCI, it is required to have experiences from the same or similar role in previous job.
