The role is anchored within Fleet Management & Technology (FMT), which is placed in Operations. FMT manages Maersk´s largest assets; the fleet of container vessels and the crew operating these vessels. You will be working closely with the departments that operate our vessels, manager our crew and deliver the technical innovation required to design and operates the container fleet of the future.

 
We Offer

The FMT organization spans across five main locations over two continents and employs approx. 13,000 people both at sea and shore. The fleet managed by FMT includes more than 700 container vessels, both own and chartered.

You will join a department of talented professionals working across various aspects of ship management ranging from Vessel Operations, Safety, Compliance, HR and technical support and development.

As you will engage with both shore-based staff and seafarers, strong digital collaboration skills are essential. You should be comfortable working in geographically dispersed projects and demonstrate a global, culturally adaptable mindset.

You will become part of the Project, Process & Change Management team, where your closest colleagues work within Project Management, Process Optimization, development, implementation, and Change Management.

Given the technical focus of many initiatives, you will also collaborate closely with Product Owners and Tech Leads to support the development and implementation of technical changes.

 

Key Responsibilities

As a Change Partner, you will be allocated to large-scale change initiatives within FMT, focusing on the people side of change. You will be responsible for developing and executing change management strategies that mitigate resistance, minimize business disruption, and drive sustainable user adoption.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Leading change management activities to ensure all relevant stakeholders feel informed, involved and engaged.
  • Managing the full change lifecycle, including impact assessments, planning, execution, reinforcement, and measurement of readiness and adoption.
  • Support identifying and managing the overall change load in FMT.
  • Consult and coach business, project teams and product owners.
  • Engaging and supporting senior leaders in driving successful transformation.
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists e.g. Subject Matter Experts, Tech Leads, Process Partners, UX designers and other key stakeholders

The ideal candidate holds a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and has 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within a global environment.
