Supply Planning Intern

Are you a motivated student with an analytical mindset and a passion for improving digital supply chain solutions? Lundbeck’s Supply Planning team is looking for an intern eager to contribute to both our recurring planning processes and digital improvements in tools such as Kinaxis Maestro and Power BI.

Your new role

You will become an integrated part of our Supply Planning DK team, where we plan and optimize Lundbeck’s production in Denmark and France.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a global pharmaceutical company and help enhance our planning processes through digital innovation.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting and executing recurring supply planning processes such as KPI reporting, data housekeeping, and forecast evaluations.
  • Developing and implementing improvements in Kinaxis Maestro and/or Power BI to strengthen automation and data quality, and to provide business insights.
  • Contributing to the team’s continuous improvement process aiming for Operational Excellence.

The internship is full-time, paid, and time-limited to 5–6 months, starting in January or February 2026.

The position is based at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby, Denmark.

Your future team

You will join the Supply Planning DK team — a group of ten dedicated colleagues within Supply Chain, responsible for ensuring that the right products are produced at the right time to meet patient needs worldwide.

We work in an environment defined by collaboration, continuous improvement, and curiosity. Our culture balances professionalism with openness — we support one another and make room for both performance and fun.

What you bring to the team

The job is relevant for students studying supply chain within an engineering context.

  • You are a bachelor’s or master’s student within supply chain management or engineering and have an internship semester as part of your studies.
  • You have an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • You are confident working with digital tools and data and have solid Excel skills. Experience with Kinaxis Maestro, Power BI, Python, or SQL is an advantage.
  • You have a passion for process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • You are proactive, curious, and eager to learn and collaborate in a team environment.
  • You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.

Our promise to you
