Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a People Operations Lead to strengthen our People team and to help us achieve our ambitious global People agenda. In this role, you will permanently lead a small but mighty team, consisting of People Operations and on top act as maternity cover for the Workplace Experience team for 10 months. Key Responsibilities
In this leadership role, you will lead the People Operations team in delivering global world-class service and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement and a people-first approach in the area of Workplace Experience
Strategic People Operations and Service Excellence
- Lead Global People Operations & Systems: Oversee and enhance the day-to-day execution of all global People Operations, including employment contracts, compensation changes, benefits administration, and visa/mobility support across our markets.
- Operational Efficiency and Scalability: Drive operational efficiency by continuously designing, documenting, and optimising all core People processes to ensure they are high-quality, efficient, and scalable for a multi-national tech company.
- End-to-End Employee Journey: Own the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and welcoming experience from initial offer acceptance through to successful offboarding, reflecting our People-First values.
Compliance, Risk Management, and Global Expansion
- International Compliance and Policy: Proactively monitor and implement all necessary changes to ensure people policies and practices comply with local and international employment laws and regulations across all Lenus’ operating regions.
- Risk Mitigation: Mitigate organisational risk through proactive compliance monitoring, regular process audits, and the implementation of best-practice controls, especially relating to data protection (GDPR) and employee record-keeping.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Build and manage strong, collaborative relationships with Legal, Finance, external advisors, auditors, and authorities to ensure all People Operations activities are legally sound and financially responsible.
- Support Global Growth: Act as the People Operations lead in supporting new market entry and expansion projects, ensuring all foundational HR infrastructure and compliance requirements are met before a new location is launched.
Global Workplace Experience (Parental leave cover - 10 months)
- Office Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of our +15 global workplace locations. Work closely with our external real estate partner to manage office contracts, renewals, terminations, negotiations and vendor relationships. Lead office moves from initial research and vendor coordination to move in day - ensuring efficient planning and seamless execution.
- Budget Ownership and Financial Control: Manage global workplace budgets by conducting regular checks, approving invoices and communicating updates to office representatives and key stakeholders.
- Office Experience: Guide the Workplace Experience Assistant and office representatives to enhance the on-site employee experience through engagement initiatives and activities, fostering a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.
- Merchandise and Branding: In collaboration with the Branding department, oversee merch operations and brand partnerships, manage shipments for onboarding and promotion packages and ensure consistent workplace branding across all offices.
- Event Coordination: Plan, budget and execute global and in-office events that strengthen community and belonging, in close collaboration with local office reps and the broader People team.
Qualifications
We value diverse experiences and backgrounds. While not all qualifications are mandatory, the ideal candidate should have:
- Relevant experience in People Operations, i.e. as People Operations Specialist or previously leading a People Operations team
- Experience from People Ops in the US, i.e. PEO management, healthcare providers and employment law across states
- Experience working across multiple markets from a systems and compliance perspective
- Worked against senior management (e.g. Head of People, Founders or the like) with the communication and presentation skills that require
- A data-first mindset, utilising tools and platforms to extract insights and inform decision-making
- Be comfortable with HR systems, tech-savvy, and curious about system integrations (we use Hibob as our Core People System)
- Previously held budget responsibilities and is comfortable with numbers and budgets
- Strong analytical and decision making skills, able to evaluate cost-saving opportunities based on time, budget and resource impact

- You have a strong attention to detail, high standards for quality, and a natural approach to documentation
- You have a practical “doer” mindset and are comfortable making decisions independently, using sound judgment and common sense.
