About the role

Job summary

A 5-year position as a Laboratory Technician is available in the Cancer Unit at a research institute, focusing on cancer immunology. The role involves the application of advanced methods to investigate the relevance of tertiary lymphoid structures in solid tumors, starting from October 1, 2026.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in immunology-based techniques, including multiparametric/spectral flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
  • Proficiency in omics approaches, particularly single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a professional interest in cancer research.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and support immunology-based experimental approaches, including flow cytometry and imaging techniques.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize omics-based experiments.
  • Develop and implement new laboratory methods and workflows.
  • Manage routine laboratory operations, including purchasing and inventory management.
  • Maintain laboratory organization and compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide technical support for research projects and ensure smooth laboratory operations.

Skills

  • Strong technical skills in laboratory methods related to cancer immunology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

Education

  • Relevant educational background in a related field is expected.

Tools
