Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

Kuba offers modern, efficient, and scalable transport ticketing solutions globally, and we are currently seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer to elevate our technology stack in Copenhagen. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and building the backend architecture, ensuring high-performance, reliability, and maintainability of our applications.

Your Role

Bring your expertise and passion for frontend development to Kuba, where you'll lead projects that greatly impact our clients and the communities we serve. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating engaging, responsive designs that elevate user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to build high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Lead frontend development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality code.
• Passionate about writing reusable code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Enjoy presenting your work and take pride in delivering great solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to help inform our development practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications while maintaining best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Expertise in modern web frameworks (We use Angular).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design.
• Knowledge of WCAG
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Playwright
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
