Are you a driven B2B sales professional with a passion for building new markets and creating measurable results? NGI is looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to take ownership of the US market and drive growth through structured, value-based sales and strong customer relationships.

NGI Components is strengthening its international growth strategy and is now looking for commercially sharp and execution-focused Area Sales Managers to develop the US market. This is a key role in NGI’s expansion journey, offering significant responsibility for both new business development and growth within existing accounts.

The position is highly operational and performance-driven, with a strong focus on outbound sales, pipeline development, and disciplined execution of sales activities. You are based at NGI’s headquarters in Nørresundby and work in an international setup primarily targeting the US market. As the role is focused on the US market, working hours are generally aligned accordingly and will typically be from 2.00 pm to 10.30 pm Monday to Thursday – on Fridays, work from home as required. Travel activity is approx. one trip per month to the US to meet customers and develop the market.

You take full ownership of your pipeline and customers, driving the entire sales process from first contact to closing and follow-up. The role offers a unique opportunity to build a strong market presence and contribute directly to NGI’s international growth ambitions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Drive outbound sales and business development activities in the US market

  • Build, manage, and develop a structured sales pipeline in CRM

  • Identify and approach new customers while developing existing relationships

  • Plan and conduct customer meetings – both virtual and in person

  • Prepare proposals, manage product samples, and ensure consistent follow-up

  • Analyze customer needs and identify new sales opportunities

  • Own and drive the entire sales process from lead generation to closing

  • Ensure structure, discipline, and momentum across all sales activities.

You have 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within technical or industrial environments, and a proven track record of proactively generating new business opportunities. You are experienced in building and managing pipelines in CRM systems and understand the importance of structure, discipline, and data in sales execution.

You are comfortable managing the full sales cycle independently – from prospecting and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and closing. Experience with international customers, particularly in the US market, is an advantage.

You excel in customer dialogue and can translate customer needs into value-based solutions. You combine strong execution skills with a commercial mindset and ensure consistent follow-up and progress across all sales activities.

You are energetic, driven, and highly results oriented. You thrive in a role with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. You are structured and disciplined, with a natural ability to maintain overview and momentum across multiple sales processes.

You are persistent and resilient, able to navigate longer sales cycles without losing focus or energy. At the same time, you are commercially curious and proactive, always seeking new opportunities to grow the business. You communicate clearly and professionally and are comfortable operating in an international, fast-paced, and performance-driven environment.
