About the role

 

As Planning Supervisor at Kerry’s Glamsbjerg site, you’ll play a key role in a facility that specializes in cheese powder production, serving global food and beverage customers. Our 24/7 operation employs around 120 colleagues, supported by strong manufacturing, maintenance, quality and engineering teams.

In this role, you will lead and develop a team of 2 planners and 1 scheduler, ensuring the right balance between service and cost while maximizing production capacity. You’ll manage planning activities from mid- to long-term supply plans to daily coordination, driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the site.

This is a permanent, full-time, onsite position at our Glamsbjerg facility.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Lead and develop the planning team, ensuring efficient processes and accurate KPI reporting (On Time In Full, Inventory, Daily Tracker, etc.) within the team and to management.
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling for multiple products, balancing service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Translate demand plans into supply plans, considering capacity, material availability, manpower, and maintenance schedules.
  • Plan and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.
  • Monitor production status daily, ensuring timely delivery and proactively addressing potential disruptions.
  • Communicate any issues impacting customer service SLAs to the wider business promptly.
  • Determine resource requirements (manpower, equipment, raw materials) to meet production demand.
  • Collaborate closely with Transport Planning, Material Call-Off teams, Customer Care, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Production to optimize inventory and workflow.
  • Support new product introductions by setting planning parameters and participating in NPI meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance SAP utilization for planning efficiency.

Qualifications and skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record in supply planning, capacity planning and team leadership.
  • Language Fluent English; Danish is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); SAP experience is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with effective time management.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
