Are you an ambitious student with an interest in sustainability and all the aspects it entails when developing a business? Are you motivated for participating in developing JYSK’s work with sustainability in a rapidly changing industry? Then you might be the Sustainability Intern that we are looking for.

In this internship position, you get the opportunity to work with sustainability in an international expanding retail company with ambitious goals within the sustainability area. You will be part of the Sustainability team in JYSK, where we work closely together on diverse projects across the environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects of sustainability.

WHAT YOUR INTERNSHIP WILL BE ABOUT

Your tasks and responsibilities in the internship include:

  • data gathering and analysis for our Sustainability Reporting for the financial year 2026
  • project participation in projects with clearly defined deliverables
  • market and data analysis ensuring that we are up to speed with latest trends and development
  • preparation of workshop material and presentations

 

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

We are looking for a new Intern who:

  • studies Energy Technology, Environmental Management, Business Management, Economics, Communications, or another related field
  • has a strong interest in sustainability and is motivated by how this contributes to the overall development of a company
  • not required but preferably knowledge or experience within LCA, climate accounting, GHG protocol or similar. A technical understanding of greenhouse gas emissions is a bonus
  • thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys turning complex knowledge into tangible actions and can drive these forward
  • speaks and write English fluently
