Job description: Nordic Regional Demand & Supply Planner
Position organizational context: within Regional Demand and Supply Nordics, part of the Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain (JJSC) of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines
Tactical responsibilities:
- Captures tactical affiliate business opportunities and makes sure they are brought to the attention of JJSC management organization
- Acts as the local arm of JJSC to deploy new added value initiatives aiming at increasing the market competitiveness of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines
Operational responsibilities:
- Manages forecast and replenishment to country specific warehouses for approximately 100 SKUs, with a mix between Dynamic Champions, Core and Value Optimizers for narcotic and non-narcotic products. Including PIMS management and scenario planning
- Manages and plans timely and cost-effective supply of his/her portfolio based upon product life cycle stage and market demand variations
- Manages New Artwork Implementation Planning and Expiry Date Planning
- Proactively alerts local company and EMEA about required escalations or potential supply chain disruptions and create STEMs. Follows up with corrective actions. Reports and explains stock-outs
- Communicates with manufacturing sites to ensure un-interrupted supply to the markets
- Supports, advises, and executes plans for New Product Introduction
- Supports, proposes, and executes plans for Product Portfolio Rationalization
- Functions as a country SPOC for one or more 3PLs
- Initiates destructions e.g., due to SLOB, etc. monthly in SLOB tool. And communicates destruction decisions to one or several 3PLs in the cluster of countries
- Collaborates with commercial and pricing to find solutions for increasing sales where there is excess stock, to avoid SLOB and destructions
- Initiates repackaging to reduce destructions due to artwork (SLOB avoidance) when needed
- Initiates donation requests to reduce destructions due to excess stock when needed
- Responsible to ensure supply of samples to markets in own cluster
- Initiates artwork extensions to avoid stock out when needed
- Maintains Master Data Planning Parameters for ERP- and Planning Systems
- Monitors actual sales vs. forecast, and initiates dialogue with production when needed, through our planning system OMP and via e-mail & Teams when needed
- Monitors KPIs for his/her product portfolio, proposing and executing corrective actions
- Manages intracompany shipments between countries to avoid stock out situations
- Acts in compliance with company policies for trainings and Travel and Expenses guidelines
- Manages monthly Danish Stock Reporting – Amgros requirement
- Manages the Priority Report (maintain, run and communicate)
- Manages the common Supply Chain Mailbox for the cluster
- Drives the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings with Commercial, Controllers and BI agrees on the monthly Consensus Demand Forecast (1-36 months) and compares vs the financial plans. Reviews gaps between finance and consensus demand forecast. Discusses business assumptions with risks and opportunities expressed in units, net sales, and gross profit. Agrees how to close gaps and how to handle SKU mix issues
- Drives and facilitates the monthly IBP Meeting for one country (Integrated Business Planning w. country leadership teams). Collects information from several functions and prepares material for the meeting. Responsible to take minutes of meetings and maintain and follow up an action/decision log.
- Provides insight to the EMEA and Global monthly IBP cycle regarding market scenarios, business assumptions, risks, and opportunities
- Represents supply chain in the preparatory meetings for all financial planning cycles and actively shares information and contributes with the supply chain perspective for his/her portfolio. Attends to the country specific meetings for financial planning
- Has the capability to have the role of a EMEA or Global Subject Matter Expert or Champion in one or several areas, working together with organizations and representatives outside own geographical cluster
- Can represent the Nordic countries, MSM or EMEA D&IM organization in designing MSM, or EMEA supply chain processes when needed

- Has a degree from university, minimum a B.Sc. or three years equivalent upper education

- Highly developed influencing skills. Influences strategic business decisions, involving LOC leadership teams, finance, commercial and others. Influences decisions based on solid E2E knowledge, expertise in Supply Chain and with E2E opportunities in mind
- Experience and skills in leadership, change management and project management
- Skilled in negotiation and make compromises with other functions to achieve the best possible outcome for the company, sometimes with trade-offs for own function
- An analytic mindset. Able to understand different theoretical statistical models and apply in forecasting and in decisions on what products to focus on.
- Has an open and curious mindset and happily shares and discusses ideas. Displays innovative thinking and ask questions to understand more and explore opportunities across organizational borders (Global, EMEA, LOC) to identify improvements in the flow of products to customers and patients
- Has the necessary IT skills (MS Office, SAP, OMP, Tableau, QlikView; Anaplan etc.)
- Important with solid Excel expertise
