This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Product Owner, Revenue Cycle Management RCM in Denmark.

In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and development teams, driving the design and delivery of high-impact billing and claims solutions. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for RCM features, ensuring accuracy, speed, and compliance across critical financial workflows. By combining deep domain expertise with strong product leadership, you will shape solutions that directly improve cash flow, reduce manual work, and enhance customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with engineering, finance, customer success, and external partners in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This position offers high ownership, strategic influence, and the opportunity to drive meaningful impact across healthcare operations. Accountabilities:
  • Define, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog to align with business objectives, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, translating business requirements into clear user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead the design and optimization of RCM workflows, including eligibility verification, claims submission, payment posting, and denial management.
  • Own the roadmap for RCM components such as EDI, ERA, and patient billing workflows in close collaboration with product management.
  • Drive adoption of AI and automation solutions to improve accuracy, reduce manual processing, and accelerate financial operations.
  • Monitor and optimize key performance indicators such as clean claim rate, days in accounts receivable, and denial rates.
  • Coordinate releases, manage beta testing, and ensure product quality, transparency, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, customer success, finance, and support teams to resolve issues and continuously improve product processes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a similar software development role.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
  • Proven ability to write clear user stories, design specifications, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across distributed and offshore teams.
  • Solid technical background in software, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience using Jira or similar product management and delivery tools.
  • Deep understanding of ABA, SLP, or OT billing workflows and healthcare RCM processes is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing integrations with healthcare clearinghouses such as Waystar, Availity, OfficeAlly, or similar platforms is a strong advantage.
