Software Engineer, Asset Store Content Operations

In this role, you will contribute directly to building and operating the automation systems that keep a large-scale digital marketplace secure, compliant, and high quality. You will work on advanced static scanning, security checks, and tooling that protect both creators and users at scale. Collaborating closely with engineering, security, and platform teams, you will help modernize workflows and improve standards across content operations. Your work will directly influence platform trust, performance, and user experience. You will operate in a fast-moving, technically rich environment with hands-on ownership. • Design, build, and maintain automated scanning systems to analyze asset packages and detect risky patterns
• Develop and operate static analysis tools to inspect dependencies, binaries, registries, and package structures
• Implement security checks, compliance rules, and quality standards using policy-as-code and CI integrations
• Document findings, generate actionable reports, and recommend block, flag, or allow decisions
• Continuously improve detection accuracy by reducing false positives and enhancing scanning logic
• Collaborate with security, platform, and tooling teams to improve workflows and automation pipelines
• Contribute to archive scanning, folder hygiene checks, and overall content governance improvements

• Strong working knowledge of Unity, including the ability to read, write, and debug C# code using common APIs
• Experience developing scripts and tools for static scanning, automation, and reporting
• Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and CI/CD runners
• Experience authoring detection rules and managing false positives and negatives
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to work in a fast-evolving technical environment
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Python or Golang is a strong plus
• Familiarity with 3D engines, developer tooling, or security engineering concepts is an advantage
