Senior Software Engineer (Go, Kubernetes)

This role provides the opportunity to shape and scale core backend systems within a cloud-native, high-traffic environment. You will work on enterprise-grade SaaS products, building and optimizing distributed systems, data pipelines, and microservices that power cutting-edge Kubernetes-based platforms. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will influence product decisions, implement scalable solutions, and ensure system reliability and performance. The position offers autonomy in a fully remote, globally distributed team while providing opportunities to mentor peers, reduce technical debt, and drive best practices. You will directly contribute to the company’s growth and operational excellence, balancing innovation with maintainable, high-quality code. Your work will impact both product users and internal engineering efficiency across multiple regions.

• Develop and maintain core backend solutions powering high-traffic, distributed SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, backend, and frontend teams to deliver scalable, elegant solutions.
• Implement features end-to-end, including design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and improve the overall health of the codebase.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support Kubernetes deployments, containerized applications, and CI/CD processes.
• Mentor team members and provide guidance on technical challenges and optimizations.

• 6+ years of backend development experience in Go, Java, Rust, or Python.
• 3+ years of commercial Go (Golang) experience.
• 2+ years of experience with high-traffic, distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, including performance tuning (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL advantageous).
• Strong experience with microservices, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience in distributed systems design, benchmarking, and optimization.
• Excellent communication, self-organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and work autonomously.
