This is a senior leadership role with the opportunity to significantly impact an organization’s data strategy and analytics capabilities. You will lead a team of analysts, build a data-driven culture, and ensure teams across the business have the insights they need to make informed decisions. This role spans strategic planning, operational execution, and the development of analytical frameworks that drive customer engagement, retention, and growth. You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Growth, and Go-to-Market teams to implement best practices, scale data infrastructure, and unlock actionable insights. Accountabilities:
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing data intelligence team to deliver insights on user behavior, platform usage, and business outcomes.
  • Own the end-to-end data strategy, ensuring analytics scale effectively across all business functions.
  • Partner with Engineering, Growth, and Go-to-Market leaders to develop analytical frameworks, dashboards, and tools for data-driven decision-making.
  • Operationalize key metrics for every business area, creating dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure performance and inform strategy.
  • Champion data literacy across the organization, embedding best practices for analysis, experimentation, and insight-driven decision-making.
  • Turn loosely defined business problems into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize customer conversion, retention, engagement, and lifetime value using both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of all analytical outputs through best-in-class frameworks and testing structures.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in analytical roles within SaaS, developer tools, or infrastructure companies.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing analytical teams.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and deep familiarity with modern data warehouse and analytics tools (BigQuery, dbt, Hex, Tableau, PostHog).
  • Experience scaling a data-driven team, from data instrumentation and dashboards to experimentation and insight discovery.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills, capable of structuring ambiguous challenges into practical analyses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong prioritization skills, bias for action, and ownership over results.
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote, asynchronous environment with global teams.
