Do you want to play a central role in defining the future of one of Denmark’s largest energy businesses? As Strategy Partner, you will help set the strategic direction for Norlys and drive initiatives that support the energy transition. You’ll work alongside top leadership to turn insights into action and create real business impact. 

Be a part of an ambitious strategic journey 

You will become part of our Strategy department. You will report to the Senior Director of Strategy and work in close partnership with the SVP for Norlys’ energy business, acting as a trusted sparring partner and strategic right hand. You will also be a member of the Energy Leadership Team, contributing directly to key strategic, product-specific and commercial decisions. 
 

The energy sector is moving from traditional supply to a more complex ecosystem built around electrification, eMobility, flexibility and intelligent Home Energy Management Systems. This transformation spans everything from renewable energy and smart energy solutions to ultrafast fiber and mobile connectivity core elements in building a greener, more connected Denmark.  

 In addition to this position as Strategy Partner, the strategy function consists of three other Strategy Partners, each representing their respective business areas: Commercial, Telco and Digitalization & Technology. Strategy also includes a Corporate Strategy team that you collaborate closely with. 

With our ONE 2027 Strategy, we are accelerating this journey, and the Strategy team plays a central role in driving it forward. 

Anchor the strategic roadmap 

 
As Strategy Partner for the energy business, you will help define how Norlys succeeds in this transition and turn strategic ambition into real business impact. You will be the anchor for our strategic roadmap for the energy business and drive the translation of our One27 strategy into strong commercial execution. You will work both on long-term strategic bets for the business and on short-term priorities to strengthen our performance.   

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Shape Norlys’ role in the energy transition, including electrification, e-mobility and next-generation energy solutions such as Home Energy Management Systems 
• Own and drive the overall energy strategy, including strategic roadmap, priorities and follow-through 
• Provide strategic support and sparring to the SVP for Energy and the Energy leadership team 
• Solve complex, high-impact strategy challenges through structured analysis and clear recommendations 
• Identify and drive initiatives related to growth, profitability, portfolio choices and product value 
• Collaborate closely with the central Strategy team and other Strategy Partners to ensure alignment across Norlys 
• Track strategic progress and support executive decision-making in collaboration with finance and business leaders. 

Combine strategic thinking with practical execution 

We expect you to have strong stakeholder management skills, solid business acumen, and informal leadership capabilities. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and know how to balance structure with a holistic perspective. Your ability to turn insights and data into actionable strategic recommendations will be key to your success. You approach tasks with a positive, proactive attitude, consider multiple perspectives, and deliver high-quality results independently. 

• Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field 
• 3–7 years of experience from management consulting or corporate strategy, ideally with exposure to the energy sector 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex issues 
• Solid understanding of energy markets, trends and value chains, including the shift toward electrification and energy management solutions 
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution in a large organization 
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage and challenge senior stakeholders 
• Collaborative mindset and comfort working in leadership teams and cross-functional settings 
• Fluency in English; Danish is a plus.
