The role

We are a looking for a specialist for configurations of our Koheras single line laser systems to join the Products & Automation team.

You will be the product responsible for system configurations as well as the ownership of our system configurator application. That means being the authority on the system and the go to person in the organization overlapping with development projects, product marketing, production, service and supply chain.

You will have the overview of our modules and know the possibilities and limitations. You are also responsible for driving the architectural development in the sector as well as aligning architectural requirements with the practical implementation in our ERP system.

You will provide the input to the test requirements, streamline test flows, reliability studies, and drive continuous improvement.

You will be the product lead in new development projects ensuring consistency with current product portfolio and best practices for manufacturability and reliability - turning new innovations into industrial products.

You will share your knowledge in the team and help your teammates strengthen their technical skills.

What do we expect of you?

You have fiber and free space optics experience, preferably in an industrial setting.

You have system overview and can translate customer requirements into actual optical configurations.

You perform a thorough data analysis and can make decisions based on data.

• Master’s degree and most likely a PhD in physics or optical engineering
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
