Integration Developer (Freelance, Remote)

Job summary

This freelance position involves designing and optimizing system integrations within a hybrid AI and human environment, focusing on reliable data connectivity across various platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in API integrations, automation, backend systems, or software development.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or above.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate integrations between core business systems such as CRMs, ad platforms, and email tools.
• Build and optimize workflows utilizing APIs, webhooks, and both real-time and batch data pipelines.
• Connect and synchronize databases across platforms like Airtable, Google Sheets, and Notion.
• Ensure reliable, real-time data transfer and consistency across systems and services.
• Troubleshoot and enhance data flow performance, addressing latency and failure handling.
• Support the integration of automated communication systems, including messaging and outreach workflows.

Skills

• Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and data exchange formats (e.g., JSON).
• Proven ability to design and manage integrations across multiple SaaS tools and business systems.
• Solid background in database synchronization and building reliable data pipelines with error handling and validation mechanisms.
• Understanding of API rate limits, pagination, authentication, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with real-time vs. batch processing pipelines and selecting suitable architectures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data consistency and reliability.
• Self-directed work ethic with the capability to troubleshoot and optimize workflows independently.
