Senior Full-Stack Developer with a passion for AI
We’re looking for a senior full-stack developer with a solid foundation in modern web development and a genuine interest in AI-powered applications. This role is perfect for you if you feel comfortable working across the entire stack — from front-end interfaces to backend services — and are excited to grow into the AI domain.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll join a team dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art AI consulting services and solutions for our clients within the Tech Collective. You don’t need to come in as an AI specialist; what matters most is your ability to build robust full-stack systems, integrate modern APIs, and collaborate with AI engineers to bring intelligent features to life.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
▪ Building modern full-stack applications: Developing high-quality, production-ready solutions using frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vite or similar – or other contemporary front-end frameworks such as Svelte or Vue. The ability to translate early concepts into working prototypes at speed will be highly valued.
▪ Implementing user-facing features: Ensuring fast, reliable interfaces with thoughtful state management (e.g., TanStack Query, provider–consumer patterns, or similar), integrated seamlessly with backend and AI-driven functionalities.
▪ Backend implementation and API development: Designing and implementing backend services and APIs using FastAPI, .NET, Python, or TypeScript-based frameworks. Experience with clean architectural patterns such as domain-driven design is considered a plus.
▪ Working with data and distributed systems: Designing data models across SQL/NoSQL stores, understanding distributed system behaviour, and integrating event- or streaming-based features (e.g., SSE or WebSockets).
▪ Integrating AI features into applications: Collaborating closely with AI specialists to embed language models, retrieval pipelines, or generative features.
▪ Deploying applications in cloud environments: Using Docker, CI/CD, and cloud services to deploy and operate secure, scalable solutions for clients.
▪ Cross-functional problem-solving: Engaging with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to shape technical solutions that address real client needs.
▪ Continuous learning in the AI space: Staying current with emerging frameworks, tools, and best practices for building AI-enhanced applications.
What you’ll bring
We’d prefer it if you have a minimum of three years of full-stack development experience, with a strong emphasis on modern front-end frameworks. On top of that, you should feel comfortable in (most of) the following areas:
▪ Front-end development: Proficient with modern TypeScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vite – or similar technologies like Svelte or Vue.
▪ Backend development: Comfortable implementing backend services using FastAPI, .NET, Python, or TypeScript-based frameworks such as Express.js.
▪ Full-stack application delivery: Capable of building applications end-to-end – from designing APIs and data flows to implementing modern front-ends and deploying to cloud environments.
▪ Data modelling and systems architecture: Familiar with modelling data across SQL and NoSQL databases, understanding distributed components, and designing maintainable architectures.
▪ Real-time and streaming integrations: Experience working with streaming protocols such as SSE or WebSockets is an advantage.
▪ Cloud deployment experience: Hands-on experience deploying applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines in Azure, AWS, or GCP (Azure experience is considered a plus).
▪ Working with modern AI APIs:
Some experience – or strong interest – in integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.) into applications to create AI-enabled features.
▪ Understanding of system architecture:
Ability to reason about distributed components, service interactions, and how front-end, backend, and cloud infrastructure fit together.
▪ Problem-solving and analytical skills:
Strong ability to troubleshoot issues across the stack and design scalable, maintainable systems.
Of course, all of this requires strong communication skills. It’s vital that you can explain technical decisions clearly and collaborate with both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
What we offer
You’ll become part of a fast-growing team focused on expanding our offerings within AI-focused consulting and implementation services. We have very little in common with a large corporation, but very much in common with a start-up, even though we’re part of one of the leading Nordic consulting groups.
Our culture is based on trust, curiosity, humility, and the ability to bring extra energy to any client engagement and create true impact. We offer nice facilities, a strong sense of community, and lots of geekiness.
