Junior Consultants for our People Strategy team
Are you a curious, ambitious student eager to help organisations become more human-focused and future-ready? Our People Strategy team is looking for students to help us do just that.
What you’ll do
As a junior consultant at Implement Consulting Group, you’ll use your strong analytical and interpersonal skills to help organisations unleash human engagement and unlock their business potential.
We aim to deploy our junior consultants directly on client projects, so most of your work will be project-related rather than internal. You’ll be involved in data modelling and analysis, preparing presentations, and supporting workshop facilitation – and you’ll have the opportunity to shape how much responsibility you take on. In short, we want you to grow, and we strive to provide the best foundation for you to do so.
Your tasks will vary depending on your profile and the projects you join, but you can expect to work on initiatives such as:
Transforming organisations (e.g., designing sustainable structures and supporting post-merger integrations)
Developing people and organisation (P&O) strategies and driving transformations with a people-centred approach
Optimising P&O processes and functions to create an exceptional employee experience
Developing and optimising people technology and data insights to support future-ready organisations
Driving P&O digitalisation through people technology strategy and implementation
Leading project teams in close collaboration with clients
We expect you to work 2–3 days per week (approximately 20 hours), with flexibility during exam periods.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for students with the right mix of analytical and emotional intelligence – people who can identify the right solution and help make it happen in an organisation.
To thrive in this role, you should be interested in the intersection of people management, organisational design, business, and technology. In addition, the ideal candidates:
Have 1.5–3 years remaining in their studies in a relevant field
Are fluent in both written and spoken English
Have a genuine interest in management consulting and solving diverse problems in a variety of contexts
Demonstrate curiosity in data research and analysis
Are proficient in leveraging technology and AI to work efficiently
Are quick learners who thrive on applying new concepts and tools, and collaborate effectively in diverse situations
We also expect you to be flexible, cooperative, and comfortable working independently in a constantly changing environment. You should feel free to challenge us, be curious, and eager to learn from experienced and passionate consultants. If you’re empathic and genuinely interested in people and building strong relationships, you’ll fit right in at Implement.
What do we offer?
At Implement, we aim to make a positive difference in the consulting industry, as we believe that the ability to create change with impact and purpose is a precondition for success in a turbulent world. We’re rapidly expanding our People Strategy team, and we’re excited to meet talented students who are curious about pursuing a career in management consulting at the intersection of people management, business, and technology.
This student job is instructive, relevant, and versatile, giving you a safe space to familiarise yourself with management consulting. You’ll have the chance to be involved in client projects and work closely with experienced consultants, who’ll help you take your strategic and process-related understanding to the next level. To support your professional and personal growth, we provide an internal training programme for all our junior consultants. And if we find a true match, there may be the possibility of permanent employment as a management consultant after you have completed your studies.
Make your next move matter.
