Junior Cloud Security Consultant for The Tech Collective

Join our collaborative, non-hierarchical team of problem solvers in a dynamic and growth-driven environment. Our Cyber Tech Services team in The Tech Collective is seeking a junior profile aspiring to a career in technical cloud security to join our office in Copenhagen. The position is open for both part-time and full-time applicants.

What you’ll do

As a Junior Cloud Security Consultant, your main tasks will be related to technical implementation in close collaboration with our Cloud Security Specialist. Your work will include stakeholder management, reporting, technical development and configurations across different platforms, and you will have the opportunity to influence how much responsibility you are ready to take on. Essentially, we want you to grow, and we strive to create the best foundation for you to do so.

The tasks will vary depending on our projects but will likely include:

• Effectively managing and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, collecting technical data, and preparing monthly client reports summarising activities and outlining upcoming plans
• Finding solutions and negotiating operational compromises to ensure efficient project progress
• Understanding and working hands-on with basic identity access management (IAM) in Entra ID
• Platform hardening of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Defender, Exchange Online, and SharePoint
• Researching new developments within the cloud security domain
• Collaborating with our technical security clients and colleagues to further strengthen security

What you’ll bring
We’re looking for flexible and cooperative people who are comfortable working independently in constantly changing conditions. We would love it if you don’t mind challenging us, and that you’re the type of person who always stays curious and eager to learn from experienced and passionate consultants.

On top of that, we’d prefer if you:

• Strive to learn about technical cybersecurity, with a particular interest in cloud
• Possess the right mix of analytical and emotional intelligence that is vital to finding the right solutions and implementing them in the organisation
• Are curious about developing your own skill set within cybersecurity consulting
• Can solve problems and take responsibility for project-related tasks
