The role is based at our Brabrand Innovation Site in Denmark and is a full-time, on-site, 6‑month temporary position. You will join a collaborative, detail-oriented, and solution‑oriented team working in an international R&D environment focused on enzyme development for the food industry. Together, we contribute to products that enable healthier food and more sustainable production.

Where You’ll Make a Difference?

• Perform biochemical characterization of enzymes
• Evaluate enzyme candidates in relevant food model systems
• Analyse, evaluate, and document experimental results with high accuracy
• Contribute to reporting and data interpretation within project teams
• Operate laboratory equipment in compliance with quality and safety standards
• Support day-to-day laboratory activities in a dynamic research environment
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across interdisciplinary project teams

What Makes You the Right Fit?

• Completed education as a laboratory assistant or equivalent background in biochemistry
• Knowledge of biochemistry, with experience or exposure to enzymology and/or protein chemistry
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work accurately with experimental data and documentation
• Comfort working in an international and fast-moving research environment
• Willingness to learn and use different IT tools and laboratory software
• Responsible approach to laboratory work and data quality

• Experience working with enzymes in food-related applications
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
