We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented student assistant to support our Regulatory Affairs team working with approvals and compliance for antifouling coatings globally.
What does it look like?
You will join a small team of two specialists responsible for maintaining and obtaining regulatory approvals for Hempel's Antifouling products across the EU and other international markets. The role provides valuable insight into how chemical products are regulated and approved worldwide.
This position is ideal for a student interested in regulatory affairs, chemistry, environmental science, or similar fields, who enjoys working with data and documentation.
What will your key responsibilities be?
Your tasks will primarily include supporting the team with administrative and data management activities such as:
• Assisting with the preparation of documentation for national product registrations
• Data entry and maintenance in IUCLID for regulatory submissions under the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR)
• Gathering and structuring regulatory data, including:
• Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Product composition overviews
• Supporting technical documentation
• Label generation and document formatting
• Supporting organization and clean-up of digital files and folder structures
• Assisting the Regulatory Affairs team with general administrative tasks related to product approvals
What are we looking for in you?
• Is currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g., chemistry, environmental science, engineering, pharmacy, regulatory science, or similar)
• Works structured and detail-oriented
• Has strong data-handling skills
• Is comfortable working with Excel and digital document systems
• Has good written and spoken English
• Can work approximately 15 hours per week
Experience with regulatory systems, chemical documentation, or databases is an advantage but not required.
