Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of People Operations & Talent Acquisition to lead and continuously improve our HR operations, payroll, talent acquisition, and employee experience across the Nordic region. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, this role will be responsible for both leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring HR support for white- and blue-collar employees while driving alignment with standards and local business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

People Operations & Leadership

  • Lead and develop the HR generalist team, covering payroll, HR administration, talent acquisition, office management, and HR systems.
  • Manage the monthly payroll review and approval process, ensuring accuracy and compliance for all Nordic markets.
  • Guarantee accurate data management for all employees across HR systems, payroll, and other related platforms.
  • Monitor service levels (SLA) and employee satisfaction (CSAT) through the Jira ticketing system, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Support the implementation of global HRIS systems (Workday)
  • Work to ensure constant improvement of processes, identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Ensure the delivery of HR support services meets business needs and legal requirements for both white- and blue-collar employees.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management

  • Oversee all talent acquisition activities in the Nordics, ensuring efficient and timely hiring for white-collar roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and recruitment strategies.

Change Management & Communications

  • Own and drive all HR change management projects relating to operational tools, systems & processes in the region, ensuring alignment with global initiatives.
  • Design and implement clear and engaging communication campaigns for all HR projects and organizational updates in the Nordics.
  • Ensure the successful local implementation of cross-market HR processes and projects.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with local leadership, global HR teams, and key stakeholders to provide a strategic HR partnership.
  • Work closely with production and HR teams at the fulfillment center to streamline timesheet processes, attendance recording, and agency worker booking.

Process Optimization & Compliance

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to centralize, standardize, and optimize people processes across the region. Support internal and external audits as required, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Team Management

  • Manage and develop a high-performing, engaged HR team, driving accountability and ensuring impactful delivery of HR services.

You have...

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, ideally in multinational environments with both white- and blue-collar populations.
  • Experience with Nordic admin & payroll processes
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Located in Denmark (mandatory). The team of 7 is based in Copenhagen, with staff in Sweden and Norway as well
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the region at least once per week.
  • Strong background in change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Workday, Zenegy, Flex is preferred
  • Hands-on approach with a strong focus on process improvement, data integrity, and employee experience.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of Nordic languages is a plus.
