About the role
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in driving performance by partnering closely with the Head of Finance and Country Managers in the Nordic countries. You’ll own the Nordic P&L, lead business case development, and provide strategic financial insights to support innovation, portfolio growth, and customer initiatives across the region.
This role reports to the Head of Finance Nordics and can be based in Sweden, Finland or Denmark.
Key responsibilities
Business Partner
Support the Head of Finance in developing and achieving growth strategies across the Nordics.
Recommend and critically assess initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.
Provide clear financial evaluations for transparent decision-making.
Control and coordinate trade investments with key stakeholders.
Develop business cases and P&Ls for innovation and portfolio initiatives.
Planning
Coordinate and make clear and transparent target setting process (Latest Estimates, target).
Support rolling forecast processes and deliver transparent forecasting. Furthermore, work closely with the sales team delivering a weekly sales forecast for within the month and quarters.
Lead/Collaborate advertising & promotion ROI /process/Tool and coordinate phasing with marketing and customer marketing.
Coordinate and ensure the target-setting process is clear and transparent, including Latest Estimates and targets.
Support the rolling forecast process by providing transparent forecasts and collaborating closely with the sales team to deliver an updated weekly sales forecast for both the month and the quarter.
Lead or collaborate on advertising and promotion of ROI, processes, and tools, and work with marketing and customer marketing to coordinate campaign phasing.
Reporting
Deliver financial reports to the Cluster Finance team and the Northern Europe Business Unit.
Execute all closing procedures—monthly, quarterly, and annually—in collaboration with the Cluster and C&C teams.
Provide support for ICFW processes within finance and guide their implementation across other departments.
Assist with ATP, statutory accounting, and IPT tasks.
Continuously monitor and review Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Oversee the relationship with the Business Service Center (BSC).
Administer and optimize market Working Capital.
Analysis
Provide all necessary financial analyses, budget, and planning for the organization.
Design, enhance and deliver management reporting.
Analyze differences between the results and the original budget, in sales, and costs.
Ensure that customer and supplier terms and conditions are in line with Business Unit objectives.
Primary deliverables of role; its scope; budgetary control (operating/capital), impact on strategy, policy, business or people relationships.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
At least 3 years of business partnering experience within Finance or Commercial Growth teams, with strong financial expertise as a qualified accountant.
Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Robust commercial insight and a proactive approach to driving business performance, including the willingness to challenge established practices.
Experience working with brands and/or sales channels.
Preferred
Experience working with cross-functional business forecasting.
Experience in FMCG and OTC (Over the counter) sales channels.
Experience in Trade Funds management, and evaluation of pricing and promotional strategy.
An understanding of Supply Chain Forecasting; factory variances, distribution, and Cost of Goods.
