Senior Operations Controller

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Senior Operations Controller to join our Finance Team.

What you will be doing

The Senior Operations Controller is part of the Finance & IT organization and reports to the CFO. In this role, you will work closely with the COO to drive the financial performance of the Operations Business Area at Haarslev, including joint Profit & Loss responsibility.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Operations & Supply Chain: Harmonization and optimization of processes and procedures

• Procurement & Purchasing: Spend analysis and savings initiatives

• Manufacturing: Monitoring utilization, efficiency, productivity, and labor/overhead rates

• CAPEX & Business Cases: Make-or-buy and footprint analysis

• Inventory: Development and refinement of processes, procedures, and inventory models

• Financial Controls: Ensuring robust financial governance and compliance

The position is based at our Haarslev office on Funen.

We are looking for a Senior Operations Controller with strong analytical skills, solid financial insight, and a proactive mindset. You have experience from Operations Controlling in a production or project-based environment and thrive where finance meets operations. What will help you succeed

• Bring experience in cost controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Transform data into clear business insights

• Work in a structured and detail-oriented way, even in a dynamic environment

• Build strong relationships and manage stakeholders across Operations and Finance

• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, International Business, Controlling, Accounting, Auditing, Finance & IT, or similar

• Are fluent in English
