IT Operations Engineer

The Operations Engineer is responsible for assisting the business in resolving product and technical issues for the Goodway organization. You will provide functional and technical support to your coworkers throughout the organization. Your work will include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging highly specialized software systems and helping administer and manage the Goodway Group technology stack.

While this is a fully remote role based in the United States, travel will be required at least twice each year for all-company meetings and may be required ad hoc based on business needs. 

What You Will Do

• You will collaborate with your co-workers to analyze and resolve their issues, from significant system crashes to simple user errors.
• You will collaborate with fellow engineers to identify and resolve bugs discovered by coworkers.
• You will liaise daily between our Engineering Department and the rest of the organization.
• You will investigate and resolve data-related issues leveraging SQL/PostgreSQL.
• You will coordinate across the organization to drive the resolution of large-scale outages.
• You will assist in maintaining and prioritizing our work queue and backlog both in tickets and project management systems.
