Do you want to design and configure the forward flow of our supply chain in D365FO – from order capture to delivery – across GN’s Enterprise, Gaming and Hearing divisions? And do you want to develop yourself professionally and personally in a global company within hearing instruments, audio, video, and gaming equipment? Then you might be one of our new Senior Functional Consultants.

We are seeking two Senior Functional Consultants to expand our Fulfillment Solutions team within GN’s Supply Chain Solutions area. In both roles, your primary responsibility is to understand business requirements, convert them into solutions in D365FO, and help secure a robust and scalable order-to-cash execution landscape that supports GN’s growth.

You will work in the context of our Digital Transformation Program (DTP), where we are moving from Navision to a modern landscape built on D365FO, Salesforce and advanced planning software (Kinaxis Maestro).

The team you will be part of

Based at our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join Supply Chain Solutions in Digital, Data and IT (DDI) and report to Director, Supply Chain Solutions, Christian Vindegaard Grønberg.

You will be part of the Fulfillment Solutions team, responsible for the execution part of the sales order flow – from capturing the order, sending it to the warehouse management system or routing it through advanced warehousing setups in D365FO, and then ensuring the goods reach our customers.

You will join one of our agile scrum teams with other functional consultants and business stakeholders, collaborating closely with colleagues working on Planning Solutions, Sourcing Solutions, and integrations to Salesforce and our advanced planning tools.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Functional Consultant, your main tasks will include:

  • Talking to business stakeholders, product owners and end users to understand and challenge requirements.

  • Documenting and designing solutions, including functional design documents (FDDs) and integration design documents (IDDs).

  • Configuring solutions in D365FO or working with developers where extensions are needed.

  • Testing solutions and supporting stakeholders in acceptance testing.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement of our ways of working, documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

You will have to balance:

  • The running business for our Enterprise and Gaming divisions, and

  • The build and rollout activities as part of DTP for our Hearing division.

Two preferred profiles – one strong D365FO must-have

For both positions, the non-negotiable requirement is that you bring several years of hands-on experience with D365FO (or AX) as a functional consultant within supply chain.

Within that, we are particularly interested in the following two profile directions. You do not need to fit both – strong candidates in one of them are highly encouraged to apply:

1. Planning / MRP / Intercompany profile

  • Experience in one or more of:

  • Master Planning / MRP

  • Intercompany processes

  • Inventory Management

  • Sales & Marketing / sales order processing

  • Experience working with or around advanced planning tools (e.g. Kinaxis Maestro or o9) is a plus.

  • Comfortable working closely with planning and operations stakeholders to balance efficiency, service levels and inventory.

2. Integrations profile

  • Experience with integrations in and around D365FO – e.g. working with integration teams, clarifying functional requirements, mapping data and processes, and validating end-to-end flows.

  • Experience working with integrations between D365FO and Salesforce or other key enterprise systems is an advantage.

  • Comfortable taking a functional lead role in integration-related activities, while collaborating closely with technical colleagues.

If you see yourself mostly in one of these two directions but also bring broader supply chain experience in D365FO, we would still very much like to hear from you.

What you bring to the role

To meet the role’s requirements, we imagine that you:

  • Possess a solid history of experience as a senior functional consultant with D365FO or AX.

  • Have past experience working within one or more supply chain modules of D365FO – for example:

  • Warehouse Management

  • Inventory Management

  • Sales & Marketing / sales order processing

  • Master Planning / MRP

  • Have practical experience translating business requirements into D365FO solutions – from design and configuration to testing.

  • It is beneficial to possess experience in agile frameworks (e.g. scrum or SAFe).

  • Enjoy being part of a social and collaborative work environment where progress is shared and problems are openly discussed.

  • Possess project and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Hold a higher educational background within business administration, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

  • Are fluent in written and spoken English and comfortable communicating with both business and IT stakeholders.

On a personal level, we imagine that you:

  • Can navigate a global organization with multiple touch points using a structured approach and prioritization skills.

  • Are curious by nature, engaged, and able to make complex matters understandable to your stakeholders.

  • Thrive in an environment that values a willingness to learn and change, collaboration and continuous improvement.

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we will gladly receive your application if you think you have transferrable skills. We highly value a mindset, motivation, and energy, that aligns with our core values, to not only ensure success for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
