(Senior) Finance Data Specialist

Please note that this position can be based at either of our locations - i.e. either at our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, or at our local Warsaw office in Poland.

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance professional with IT acumen to join our Financial Reporting & Consolidation Solutions team. You bring at least a decade of experience within Finance / Finance processes (e.g. reporting, controlling, consolidation, planning) and are comfortable working practically with systems, data and technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will be the go‑to person for Finance on our solutions side – and at the same time the trusted partner for our developers and architects. You will design and implement Finance solutions and data flows that are robust, scalable and future‑oriented – and that Finance can actually use to run the business.

As a member of our Digital, Data and IT (DDI) function, you will work with a diverse group of professionals focused on creating innovative solutions that advance our business. You will be greeted by an inclusive and collaborative team that values creativity and teamwork.

Our department supports solutions such as OneStream, SAP, Power Platform, D365FO and ESG reporting. We are also running strategic initiatives to modernize our IT architecture in the Finance domain.

You will report to Head of Finance Reporting & Consolidation Solutions, Mattia Savonitto.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Be the primary bridge between Finance and our reporting solutions team, translating Finance needs into clear requirements and designing robust, scalable solutions across platforms like OneStream, SAP, D365FO, ESG reporting, Power Platform and AI-enabled tools.

Together with Finance and IT stakeholders, you help prioritize and refine the backlog so we focus on the highest value changes, while taking end-to-end ownership for delivering such tools.

A core focus of the role is Finance data: ensuring data quality, consistency and control across systems; maintaining clear definitions, mappings and standards; managing changes in the Finance reporting landscape (e.g. new entities, KPIs, reorganizations); and ensuring proper specification, testing, documentation and change management.

To Thrive in the Role, You:

• Have deep experience in Finance and Finance processes – for example from roles in financial reporting, consolidation, controlling or FP&A.

• Are genuinely interested in IT, data and technology, and have experience working with Finance systems and data (e.g. consolidation / planning tools, ERP).

• Enjoy being the bridge between business and IT and can speak the language of both Finance and technical teams.

• Are a problem solver with excellent troubleshooting abilities and a structured, reliable way of working.

• Can explain complex topics in simple, clear language and adapt your communication style to your audience.

• Like to coach, challenge and support others – acting as an internal consultant and trusted advisor, not just an executor.

Please note that candidates with experience with OneStream, SAP, D365FO, ESG reporting solutions, Power Platform or similar Finance platforms are encouraged to apply, but this is not a prerequisite for the role.
