GN is seeking a Senior Manager for our Lean Agile Centre of Excellence (LACE) to manage and develop Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and advance agile practices across the organization.  You will shape and head a newly created strategic function, scaling agile methodologies, coaching teams, and facilitating transformation in product development.

The team you will be part of:

At GN, we deliver life-changing hearing solutions through consistent innovation. Our Lean Agile Centre of Excellence (LACE) is central to that mission: we enable and scale modern product development practices that help our cross-functional teams deliver impactful products faster and more predictably.

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, to lead and develop our team of Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and facilitate the continued adoption and maturation of agile ways of working across GN. Based at our Ballerup Headquarters, you will promote an agile leadership mindset, scale best practices, and work closely with ART leadership and value-streams to enable end-to-end delivery of high-quality solutions.

You will:

  • Provide people leadership, coaching and development for a team of RTEs, ensuring effective support for Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Own the LACE agenda for agile maturity as part of the LACE leadership team: Designing and executing initiatives that advance agile ways of working, scale advanced agile practices, support PI Planning, and mentor agile roles to build sustainable internal competence.

  • Engage stakeholders through clear communication, governance insights and strategic reviews, translating analyses and feasibility studies into pragmatic recommendations for LACE management and the broader organization.

  • Stabilize and continuously improve agile processes, governance alignment and SAFe practices across the organization,

  • Secure buy‑in and alignment through effective facilitation and collaborative decision‑making with ART leadership and stakeholders across all functions.

  • Facilitate transformation by introducing and scaling advanced agile practices, designing new teams and trains, and supporting PI Planning across our value streams.

  • Build internal capability by training, mentoring and coaching agile roles (RTEs, Scrum Masters, Product Owners).

  • Promote a coaching culture by modelling servant leadership and equipping teams with coaching, facilitation and continuous improvement techniques.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Are an experienced leader with solid global leadership experience managing multiple large, cross-functional teams and leaders

  • Bring deep practical experience with SAFe at scale, hold a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification and direct experience as an RTE or working closely with RTEs.

  • Have an engineering background or extensive experience in technology environments (e.g.electronics, electro-acoustic, or hardware-software product development, enabling credible conversations with technical teams and leaders.

  • Are skilled in launching and scaling Agile Release Trains (ARTs) across multiple value streams.

  • Are comfortable facilitating agile transformations end-to-end: designing operating models, shifting mindsets, and embedding new practices across engineering and product organizations

  • Are proficient in coaching and people-management skills.

  • Are skilled in managing stakeholders and communicating clearly, connecting with individuals across all levels in a matrix organization.

  • Are fluent in English, written and spoken

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that aligns with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
