We are on an exciting maturity journey and have recently relaunched our corporate travel program to unlock its full potential. This new established position allows you to have a significant role in crafting our global travel approach, enhancing the experience for our travellers, and shaping the travel program internationally. As our Global Travel Manager, you will ensure and optimize our travel program globally and across our hearing aids, audio, video, and gaming business units. Your role is central to ensure a smooth, cost-effective, and compliant travel experience for our 3,000+ business travellers worldwide.

The team you will be part of:

At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of the Global Indirect Procurement organization and work closely with the Travel Category Manager to align travel operations with strategic sourcing and supplier management.

You will report to Vice President, Global Indirect Procurement, Peter Vuust.

As our new Global Travel Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of GN’s global travel program. You will have a key role in the global alignment between the Travel Category Manager, our global travel agency and local travel stakeholders. You’ll ensure that travel policies are followed, vendors are delivering value, and employees have access to efficient and safe travel solutions.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Travel Program Management: Oversee GN’s global travel operations, including managing travel booking platforms, agency relationships, and traveller support.

  • Policy & Compliance: Maintain and evolve GN’s travel policy and ensure compliance, cost control, and traveller safety.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders across brands and functions, ensuring travel needs are met.

  • Supplier Coordination: Work closely with Travel Category Manager to manage travel suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.

  • Reporting & Insights: Track travel spend, trends, and compliance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Traveler Experience: Continuously improve the employee travel experience through feedback, training, and support.

  • Duty of care: Managing and developing our global duty of care program

  • Communication: Ensure overall communication of the travel program and maintain and update travel related content on internal portals.

To thrive in the role, we imagine that you have:

  • Relevant higher educational background within procurement, economics or a related field.

  • Solid experience within business travel and corporate travel management.

  • Understanding of business travel platforms, booking tools, and global travel policies.

  • A capable project-, and stakeholder manager able to collaborate across organizational functions and levels.

  • A service mindset with developed rational way of thinking.

  • Experience working in a global organization with cross-cultural collaboration and global exposure.

  • A global mindset where you should be able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

  • Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier management.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Your interpersonal skills are well-developed, you prioritize ethical practices, and you engage collaboratively to enhance what is best for the GN Group.
