In the Digital Incubation and AI team, we work both as an internal AI consultant and development team, and as a strategic team, shaping our approach and architecture around generative AI. At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join our Digital Incubation and AI team. We build tomorrow’s AI solutions that help our colleagues work better, smarter, and faster, using generative and agentic AI.

As part of this lively, interactive, and cooperative team of professionals with various skills, you will engage in projects and ongoing responsibilities. There are also options for participating in presentations, training, and workshops with colleagues from around the business.

As part of our Digital, Data and IT (DDI) function of +200 employees, we support the GN Group across the world, delivering business critical applications and infrastructure.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

As our new AI Developer, you will be responsible for the development phase of AI projects, as well as participate in solution processes along with other members of the team and representatives from the business.

Specifically, your work will include, but is not limited to, the following assignments

• Scoping, planning, and development of AI solutions on various platforms.

• Documenting existing process as well as the developed solutions.

• Further iterating solutions once they reach production in a DevOps setup.

• Participate in third-party tool evaluations, training sessions, and technology explorations.

You will experience the complexity of a truly global organization and in this context, you will need to navigate across cultures, functions, and organizational levels.

We imagine that you are team-orientated but can also work efficiently on your own, when required. You are goal-driven while also being receptive to working together with others. In addition, you show accountability and can function effectively in an organization that undergoes considerable transformations, and you possess experience with Agile frameworks or are open to learning about them.

Moreover, we imagine that you have:

• A higher educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages, such as Python (prioritized), Java, or C++.

• Experience working with data and data libraries, such as NumPy and pandas.

• Software development skills.

• Familiarity with Azure app Service and/or Azure DevOps is a plus

• Fluently in written and spoken English. Since we are an international organization with colleagues in over 50 different countries, our official company language is English. It’s essential that you can communicate effortlessly with your colleagues, no matter where they are.  

It will be essential to approach your new role with a curious mindset and an openness to learning.

Please note that while we have a hybrid working culture in GN, this role is based in our HQ in Ballerup, and you are expected to be physically present in the office multiple times a week.
