Full-Stack Engineer (Healthcare, Remote)

Job summary

Seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to enhance a clinical trials platform with a focus on delivering high-quality features. This role involves collaboration with product managers, designers, and QA in an Azure-hosted environment.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in building production web applications as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Vue.js, including components and state management, with proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Solid backend development skills in C# (.NET) and experience with SQL databases.
• Practical experience with Azure services, including App Services and Functions, as well as CI/CD practices.
• Comfortable working within a product team alongside designers and QA.
• Proficient in Git and familiar with test-first development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications for clinical users using Vue.js.
• Optimize backend services and APIs in C# with SQL data stores.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale services on Azure, contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and accessible interfaces.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to product decision-making.
• Write clean, testable code, conduct code reviews, and mentor peers.
• Troubleshoot full-stack issues and maintain technical documentation.
• Support integrations with various digital health technologies, including devices and telemedicine.

Skills

• Experience in healthcare or clinical trials is a plus.
• Familiarity with eCOA/ePRO systems and regulatory standards (21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, microservices, and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with test automation frameworks and responsive design principles.
• Relevant Azure or development certifications are advantageous.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
