Are you eager to take on a key position in managing and optimizing planning operations within our Finished Goods Supply Chain? Do you enjoy being at the heart of Supply Chain, managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships?

We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Planner to join our team at our industry-leading pharmaceutical site in Hillerød. Our Manufacturing site in Hillerød, Denmark, brings together a complete range of expertise, capabilities and technologies to manufacture advanced biologics.

About the Role

You will work with a great number of stakeholders across the site as well as with customers, driving production planning activities for our established finished goods production ensuring consistent supply of medicines to patients for our clients.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Ensure material readiness through setting the right planning parameters, creating requisitions for material ordering, and aligning release of materials with internal stakeholders
  • Generate process orders in SAP and manage customer inquiries
  • Schedule production for one or more production lines to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time delivery
  • Function as a subject matter expert and represent Supply Planning in Tech Transfers/New Product activities identifying and solving process gaps ensuring readiness for commercial production
  • Stakeholder management driving collaboration with customers and across departments
  • Perform assessment on planning related activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiencies
  • Participate in cross-functional teamwork to implement changes and/or improve processes

About the Team

You will be joining a team of eight highly dedicated Supply Chain specialists focusing on end-to-end planning for drug product, and finished goods (assembly, label and pack). The Fill-Finish Supply Planning team is a part of Supply Chain Operations embedded in the Supply Chain Management organization of around 100+ employees.

The responsibility of the team members is divided in drug product and finished goods, as well as procurement and planning ensuring timely delivery to our customers. Striving for continuous improvement is part of our culture.

The team has a wide cross-functional span, collaborating with stakeholders from multiple functions, and take active part in the manufacturing readiness when it comes to onboarding new customers and launching new products.

The work environment is informal, and we have a lot of fun, while keeping a high pace.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following background and skill sets:

Professional qualifications

  • Bachelor's (BA) or Master's Degree (MSc) within Supply Chain, Operations Management, Production Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of Supply Chain experience through work experience or academic studies.
  • Strong interest in planning processes, systems, and improvements
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis (E.g. Excel, Alteryx)
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in spoken and written English
