Manager, Identity Access Management

Join us in advancing our Identity Access Management (IAM) capabilities and contributing to a secure, efficient IT environment! We are seeking a skilled Global Identity Access Management Lead to join our Information Technology department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and managing IAM strategies across our global organization, including management of a small team of about 2-5 people. This position involves oversight of the IAM platform, focusing on automation and optimization of Joiners, Movers, Leavers (JML) processes.

Key responsibilities include driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with stakeholders across IT, HR, Compliance, and Security. The role requires strategic leadership to enhance security and operational excellence, aligning IAM practices with business objectives. In this exciting role, you are responsibly for daily operational tasks within system management as well as small sized projects. You will engage frequently with internal customers and stakeholders. 

What you will do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and lead global IAM strategies that enhance identity processes and improve security across the organization.
  • Platform Oversight: Manage the IAM platform with a focus on Omada and automation of Joiners, Movers, Leavers (JML) processes.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and refine access management processes, including workflows through ServiceNow.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure IAM operations comply with industry standards, aligning with frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with IT, HR, Compliance, and Security to align IAM strategies with organizational goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Increase automation and reduce manual interventions to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • All other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, cross function collaborative and project team leadership assignment consistent with personal strategic, operational, and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for technology and automation. You are quality minded with strong analytical skills, strong networking skills and a high sense of responsibility. You are an independent thinker and can determine objectives and approaches to assignments. You have past experience to solve problems and develop long term solutions with a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness within the boundaries of industry compliance regulations, while still aware of when to escalate more complex issues to a higher level.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • BSc. within computer science, business administration, engineering, or similar is required.
  • 5+ years of operation and maintenance of IT systems, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience in a leadership of management role.
  • Proven experience in production: IT projects and administration of IT Systems
  • Proven experience in identity access management platforms/solutions is required.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • MSc. within computer science, business administration, engineering or similar.
  • Experience with Omada is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of software maintenance in a regulated environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in identity access management platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Documented ISO and cGMP.
  • Working knowledge of GAMP.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Advanced networking and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and quality of work.
