Business Continuity Lead for the Security & Business Continuity Department

About the position

The Business Continuity Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's business continuity plans to ensure resilience in the face of disruptions. This role involves strategic planning, risk assessment, training, and coordination of strategies across all departments.

We are working with a cloud-based platform and have over the last year optimized our ways of working to be compliant with NIS2. You will be leading the program, together with a student assistant and a global network of other Business Continuity SME’s and relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Plans

• Maintain, optimize and establish business continuity plans, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and legal requirements.
   

Risk Assessment

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats.
• Analyze potential impacts of disruptions on business operations.
   

Coordination and Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity strategies are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
• Liaise with external partners and stakeholders as necessary.
   

Training and Awareness:

• Develop and lead training programs to educate employees on business continuity practices.
• Raise awareness and promote a culture of preparedness within the organization.
   

Testing and Evaluation:

• Conduct regular simulations and drills to test effectiveness of continuity plans.
• Evaluate performance and implement improvements based on findings.
   

Incident Management:

• Coordinate response efforts during actual disruptions or emergencies.
• Ensure effective communication and execution of recovery strategies.
   

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of continuity plans, procedures, testing results, and incident response activities.
• Prepare reports for senior management to highlight risks and statuses of continuity efforts.
   

Audit support:

• Support audit requests for Business Continuity Management and related services.
   

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business continuity planning, risk management, or emergency management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Certification in Business Continuity Management (such as CBCI) is desirable.

We expect you to have a strong interest in stakeholder management, be a team player and have an interest in working as a part of a team.

Your New Department
As a member of the Security & Business Continuity Department (SBC) at Fujifilm Biotechnologies Denmark, will you be reporting to the Department Head of Security & Business Continuity.

SBC is entrusted with maintaining on-site security, Business Continuity Management, Fire strategy, daily management of our Fire System, Reception Services and addressing a variety of crucial security-related responsibilities. We have collaboration across the entire campus, in strong collaboration with our Facility Management Department. Together, we ensure security, safety, efficiency, and continuous growth of our operations.
