Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities by designing computational physics problems that simulate real research workflows. Contributors will engage in tasks that require Python programming and ensure that the problems are computationally intensive and relevant to practical applications in physics.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Experience with numerical simulation methods and problem design in physics.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+).

Responsibilities

  • Design original computational physics problems that require Python programming to solve.
  • Ensure problems are computationally intensive and reflect real physics research challenges.
  • Verify solutions using Python and document problem statements clearly with correct answers.

Skills

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project requirements.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $45 per hour, with compensation varying based on project scope and complexity.
