About the Role & Team

We are looking for our first People Partner to combine operational excellence with strategic partnership and help build Formalize's business partnering framework from the ground up, in close collaboration with the People Director.

You will join a vibrant and collaborative People Team, working closely with People Ops, Talent Acquisition, and Organisational Development, taking ownership and driving initiatives end-to-end. This role starts at 54.000 DKK per month and can grow to 62.000 DKK as you grow in the role before moving to the next level. What you will do

• You will work closely with the People Director to define and build how business partnering works at Formalize, alongside our People Ops and Talent Acquisition teams.

• Build a true partnership with Commercial leaders, assisting with headcount planning, team structure, and strategic growth.

• Advise leaders on performance, development, team dynamics, and conflict management.

• Help keep us compliant with employment law in your markets: Denmark, Spain, Italy, Germany, and France.

• Launch and run people initiatives, including Development cycles and engagement programs that support our growth.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader People Team to optimise processes and maintain an employee-first approach.

What you bring

• Professional experience in a People Partner role, ideally within a fast-growing or international environment.

• Skilled in employee relations, performance conversations, team dynamics, and development guidance for leaders.

• Experience running and (maybe) designing scalable people processes across the full employee lifecycle.

• Partnered with leaders on team structures, growth plans, and people strategies.

• Confident communicator in English, with experience in meetings or workshops for diverse groups.

• Comfortable with HR systems (we use HiBob, Sana, TeamTailor, to name a few) and data, keeping records accurate and using insights to improve processes.

• Knowledge of European employment law, especially in Denmark, Spain, Italy, the UK, Germany, or France, is a plus.
