About the role

The IT Sourcing & Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in optimizing the value and performance of our IT supplier ecosystem. This position is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing key vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing software license management to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive IT sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFP/RFI processes, vendor evaluations, and selection decisions for IT requirements.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, commercial terms, renewals, and pricing agreements to optimize value and minimize risk.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key IT vendors and technology partners, ensuring strong collaboration and accountability.
  • Own the organization’s software license management function, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, timely renewals, and license optimization across SaaS and on-premises environments.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Software Asset Management (SAM) framework in alignment with IT policies and governance standards.
  • Partner with IT stakeholders, including IT Service Management (ITSM), to ensure effective software lifecycle management (request, deployment, change, retirement).
  • Implement and oversee vendor governance structures, including performance management, service level monitoring, and KPI reporting.
  • Identify and deliver cost optimization opportunities across software, cloud, hardware, and IT services expenditures.
  • Provide detailed IT spend analysis, financial forecasting, and budget planning support to IT and Finance leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, contract management, supplier performance, and asset governance processes.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in IT sourcing, vendor management, or procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of IT contracts and software licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SaaS).
  • Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of ITIL, SAM/ITAM practices, and ITSM tools and frameworks.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
