Georg Jensen and Royal Copenhagen, part of Vita Brands, are seeking a full-time Visual Merchandiser to support and elevate our Freestanding Stores across Europe.

THE ROLE

As a Visual Merchandiser, you will play a key role in creating an inspiring and consistent customer experience by implementing visual standards and driving commercial excellence. By acting in line with our values, you will contribute to both your and the company´s success.

You will be responsible for implementing visual merchandising directions from HQ into an exclusive, high-end retail environment. This role also allows for a certain degree of creative freedom to keep the retail space engaging for customers. The mission is to create and maintain a high end retail universe using your creative skills and hands on mindset which fosters independent ideas and thoughts.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and reports to our Retail Operations Manager. This is a full-time role that requires regular travel to our Freestanding Stores in the UK, Sweden and Denmark.

You will join an international and collaborative retail team where you will learn and share new skills with a diverse team every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of the Continental European Retail team, taking part in delivering strong visual and commercial execution in our most important sales channel. Contributing to create beautiful, high-performing retail environments that strengthen customer experience and drive conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Visual Merchandising for Freestanding Stores in Continental Europe, ensuring each location remains inspiring, premium and impeccably organized.
  • Create and execute window displays based on Business Unit directions.
  • Implement commercial and aesthetic jewelry displays, Interior setups and table settings.
  • Engage in in-store layout planning, zoning, fixtures placement, product presentation and styling
  • Partner with the Store Managers and marketing activation teams to optimize customer flow and highlight active retail zones.
  • Ensure roadmap activities, campaigns and VM directions are consistently implemented across countries.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers and Business Units on space management and VM planning.
  • Maintain a strong cost-conscious approach while delivering high-end results, handle planning, reporting and documentation.
  • Support and train VM-responsible in stores, both remotely and during on-site visits.
  • Travel to stores monthly - and sometimes more frequently during key campaigns - to implement VM updates, support local teams, and ensure alignment with brand standards

This role will require frequent travel within the UK, Sweden and Denmark with regular on-site presence across multiple store locations.

EXPERIENCE

You are familiar with today's exclusive retail environment and hold a refined aesthetic sense. You excel at elevating physical spaces through thoughtful composition and creative execution, always keeping commercial impact in focus.

Your visual merchandising expertise enables you to create displays, that not only look stunning but also drive sales.

You are a quick learner, able to absorb product knowledge rapidly and accurately, adapt easily between store environments and demonstrate a personal drive for continuous improvement.

As a positive collaborative team player, physically ready to work across large stores spanning several floors. You manage multiple tasks effectively, coordinate projects end-to-end, and maintain a detail-oriented, solution-driven mindset.

You have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Education within Retail, Visual Merchandising, or related creative field.
  • Strong ability to work independently and develop creative solutions on the spot.
  • Experience within high-end or luxury jewelry and homeware.
  • Flexibility to support store operations with varying working hours (Mainly weekdays between 7am - 6pm)
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across multiple countries as a core part of the role.
