Director of Marketing for Georg Jensen & Royal Copenhagen

This position requires living in or relocating to Copenhagen. The Director of Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving the ambitious global commercial objectives of Georg Jensen and Royal Copenhagen. This role is responsible for defining and leading the marketing vision for both brands, shaping long term strategy while delivering impactful, hands-on execution.
As the leader of the global marketing teams, the Director of Marketing will contribute to major international initiatives and lead the development of brand and product marketing strategies across wholesale, retail, and digital channels.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role requiring a strategic yet hands-on leader, capable of inspiring and managing multicultural teams while collaborating closely with regional and global marketing partners. Working cross functionally and across markets, you will ensure that brand goals, strategies, and plans are aligned, coherent, and consistently executed, while preserving each brand’s unique heritage, identity, and individuality.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global marketing and communications strategies that aligns with Georg Jensen’s and Royal Copenhagen’s visions, missions, and business goals. Refine target consumer segments and drive the brands long-term positions in the luxury market
Commercial Calendar Management: Lead the creation and management of a global commercial calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities, sales targets, and key product launches. Collaborate closely with Retail, Merchandising, and eCommerce teams to ensure media planning, digital execution, and campaign delivery are optimized
Team Leadership: Empower, develop, and lead a diverse and integrated marketing team, including Brand Marketing, Content production, Retail Store Design & Visual Merchandising and SoMe. Foster a collaborative and creative environment to deliver exceptional results
Brand Consistency: Work closely with the Creative Directors to translate their creative visions into marketing initiatives and brand communications which reflect Georg Jensen’s and Royal Copenhagen’s visual identities and maintain consistent messaging across all consumer touchpoints
Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, sales, eCommerce, and retail teams, driving cohesive execution of marketing strategies across all channels. Build strong internal relationships, ensuring strategic alignment and feedback integration
Financial Accountability: In partnership with Finance, Merchandising, and DTC teams, set and monitor regional marketing budgets. Prioritize and optimize marketing investments to meet financial targets while driving impactful results
Skills, knowledge and experience
Education:
Relevant master’s degree in business, Marketing, or comparable.
