Then you may be out new Business Controller

The Business Controller will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial stability. This role partners closely with management to optimize processes, control budgets, and drive profitability.


You will be part of the Vita Finance organization with direct report to the Finance Director of the 2 accelerating brands (Georg Jensen and Royal Copenhagen). Together with the Finance Director you will act as a finance partner to that part of the business with stakeholders on many different levels as well as countries. Your main work location will be at our office at Flintholm, Frederiksberg.

Key interfaces and stakeholders
You will have a wide interface with different functions as well as level.  Your geographical scope will be global, but with main stakeholders being places in Denmark.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly management reports
• Develop and maintain financial models, Budgets and Forecasts
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and internal processes
• Drive process improvements in financial reporting and analysis
 

Individual responsibilities
• Monthly support and follow up on 2 smaller factories in Denmark
• Monthly/quarterly follow up on central marketing spend
• Monthly/quarterly follow up on central CAPEX as well as Product development
• Oversee month eliminations and internal profit eliminations until the task can be moved to group
• Make monthly accruals and reclasses to secure accuracy and compliance to internal
policies.
• Data validation is a huge part of this roll (as we are in the process of moving data to Power BI and we do have several different ERP systems) 
• Support the 2 business units with ad hoc request
 

Business impact:
Georg Jensen annual revenue is EUR 145m
Royal Copenhagen annual revenue is EUR 112m 
 

Skills, knowledge and experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

• 1-3 years in a role with similar responsibilities
• Excellent analytical and structuring skills.
• Advanced Excel
• Power BI experience
• ERP stills in AX or SAP (a plus but not mandatory)
• HFM Hyperion (a plus but not mandatory)
• Interest in data and how to structure them
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
• Communication ability in many different levels (from retail staff to top management)
 

Language skills:
• English
• Danish
