Job Description:

Do you have solid experience in sales within the pharmaceutical industry for different therapeutics areas?
Are you ready to lead a strong Sales team while actively contributing as a hands-on team player? As a field -based Country Sales Head, you will drive accessibility for pharmaceutical products across multiple therapeutic areas in the Nordic region.

Ferring +You – Our collaboration
You will lead the Nordic Sales team in Denmark and Norway consisting of 2 skilled Key Account Managers (KAM) and a Commercial Specialist that support the team.

You will report to the General Manager Nordics to deliver the team’s mission to optimize the sale Ferring’s products and shape our future in the Nordic region.


Your day at Ferring- Tasks where you are accountable
In this role you will be an active, field-based role, with strategic and hands-on execution for the Sales team of KAMs across multiple therapeutic areas. As Country Sales Head you will also be a key member of the Nordics Leadership Team ensure alignment and work in collaboration to ensure global strategies and local business needs are achieved.


Your primary tasks are:

  • Leading customer-facing strategy and field execution across Denmark and Norway, aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Implementing strategies and tactics to enhance market access through payer and stakeholder engagement.

  • Driving Key Account Management plans to grow market share and profitability.

  • Managing the Sales team, ensuring effectiveness through coaching and performance management.

  • Ensuring timely, compliant execution of all in-country activities.

  • Overseeing department budget and develop cross-functional plans for launches and in-line brands.

  • Developing annual sales budgets and bonus targets, monitor KPIs and coach field teams by codriving activities

  • Using business intelligence and data insights to optimize sales strategies and execution.

In addition, you will

  • Contribute to Nordics Leadership Team decisions and goal setting.

  • Collaborate with Marketing & Commercial Operations Head and Medical & Market Access Head peers to align brand strategies and execution.

 We are looking for a dynamic leader to deliver our Nordic Sales activities. In this pivotal role, you will drive growth, build strong relationships, and ensure the success of our innovative products across the region.

This is a hybrid position, with approximately 50% field-based activities in Denmark and Norway engaging with healthcare professionals, and the remaining time spent at our office in Kastrup collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The skills you need to have:

  • Solid experience in sales in the pharmaceutical industry in the Nordic particular in Denmark and Norway.

  • Experience with Marketing, Digital Marketing, Data & Analytics,

  • Proven leadership experience with team engagement, and talent development

  • Strong track record in sales planning and execution for different Health care professional for different therapeutic areas

  • Therapeutic area experience in Reproductive Medicine, Maternal Health, or Specialty Brands (Gastroenterology, Urology) is a plus.

  • University degree in business or science - advanced degree (MSc and/or MBA) preferred.

Additional capabilities required, include:

  • Skilled in managing complexity, driving results, and leading teams through change.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions and regions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Nordic language is an advantage).
