As part of the Safety Medical Device team, you and your 6 colleagues are responsible for post-market surveillance activities and vigilance reporting for Ferring’s medical devices and combination products. Our key focus is safeguarding patients and ensuring regulatory compliance.

We are part of Global Safety (GS) with more than 70 international employees responsible for the surveillance of all Ferring medicinal products, combination products and medical devices.

Your day at Ferring

As a Medical Device Safety Advisor, you will have an opportunity to take on a role with a wide range of responsibilities, critical for ensuring patient safety.

In your role as Safety Advisor, your focus is continuous monitoring, management and analysis of post-marketing safety data for Ferring’s Medical Devices and combination products. Ferring’s medical devices range from Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) to Class III implantable devices. Ferring’s combination products are drug-led combination products with device constituent parts essential for drug administration.

Your primary tasks:

• Continuous data entering, monitoring, management and analysis of post-marketing safety data
• Review and analysis of medical device safety case reports of marketed products
• Preparation, chairing and documentation of Safety Management Team meetings
• Establish/maintain relevant procedures within your area of expertise
• Participation in cross-functional activities as a member of relevant matrix teams
• Participation in audits and inspections

You have a relevant educational background (Master degree in science/health) and are fluent in English both written and oral.
