Account Technology Lead - Banking - Senior Manager / Director

The opportunity

EY is scaling its Nordic Financial Services Technology Consulting practice with a clear ambition to double the business over the next four years. Technology Consulting already represents a significant part of EY’s Nordic Financial Services business, yet we see substantial untapped potential across major Nordic banking clients.

This is not a traditional delivery or capability leadership role. As a Banking Account Technology Lead (ATL), you will operate at the intersection of client leadership, commercial ownership, and technology advisory. You will act as a trusted advisor to CIOs and technology leadership teams while shaping EY’s long-term technology position across priority banking accounts.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the direction of EY’s technology growth in the Nordic banking sector and to work directly with senior client stakeholders on large-scale transformation agendas.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as EY’s trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and broader technology leadership
• Drive technology sales, pipeline development and delivery across priority accounts
• Position EY as a leading transformation partner across design, build and run
• Connect client needs with EY’s full suite of technology capabilities, alliances and solutions
• Increase EY’s share of client technology spend through scalable, repeatable offerings
• Shape account strategy together with account leadership and Global Client Service Partners
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration across Nordic and global EY teams

• Lead technology engagement across major Nordic banking clients
• Strengthen EY’s positioning with the largest Nordic banking clients
• Support preferred supplier positioning and large‑scale transformation programmes
• Drive growth across cloud, data, AI and platform modernization agendas
  
  

Skills and attributes for success

Professional competencies

• Strong consulting background from a leading firm (Big4, Accenture, Capgemini or similar)
• Deep experience within Banking and Financial Services
• Proven ability to engage and influence technology executives at CIO / CTO level
• Experience leading large‑scale technology transformation programmes
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of building pipeline and closing deals
• Ability to operate in a Nordic, cross‑border environment

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience building pipeline and driving complex technology engagements
• Experience scaling consulting offerings and teams
• Experience working within preferred supplier or strategic vendor frameworks
