We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable and Payable specialist to manage customer and supplier ledgers in a forward-looking company within the veterinary industry. The role is responsible for Evidensia Denmark and is part of a global team for Northern Europe.
Purpose of the role
We are seeking a proactive and service-minded finance professional with overall responsibility for ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely handling of the entire sub-ledger.
The AR and AP responsibilities are different. In AR, you will carry out daily operational tasks, including payment processing, reconciliations, and providing support to both internal and external stakeholders. In AP, the focus is on ensuring that our international service center performs the agreed tasks in line with established procedures.
You will also support internal and external queries related to both AR and AP. Ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining high accuracy in the sub-ledger are of utmost importance.
Reporting line / organizational placement
The role reports to the Finance Ops Lead – In-country, with indirect reporting to the Regional Head of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
You will work closely with the local finance team, GBS (SSC), as well as clinics and operational managers.
Competence and minimum experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounts receivable and payable, credit assessments, and payment flow management
Experience in invoicing is required
Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
Detail-oriented, service-minded, accountable, and solution-oriented
Experience with large financial systems, preferably Oracle or a similar ERP
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Experience working in an international company
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
