As an Area Manager at European LifeCare Group, you will in Denmark operate under the brand "Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service".

You will report to the Director of DK Private.

About the job:

The key responsibilities as an Area Manager in Danske Lægers VaccinationsService include:

People Management

  • Lead and develop clinic staff remotely, ensuring a high level of engagement, performance, and alignment across locations

  • Act as owner of national processes, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement across clinics in collaboration with your Area Manager colleagues

  • Ensure adherence to the company’s leadership principles and expectations

  • Own workforce planning and scheduling across clinics, including forecasting staffing needs within your area together wih your administrative coordinator

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and onboarding of new employees

  • Drive professional development within the area, including supervision, journal audits, and follow-up on e-learning completion

  • Ensure implementation and adherence to company concepts, standards, and new initiatives

  • Promote employee well-being and engagement through active use of the company’s engagement platform

Operations

  • Hold full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of clinics within your area

  • Drive performance management in close collaboration with Marketing

  • Monitor, follow up on, and continuously improve key KPIs

  • Ensure compliance with guidelines for clinic setup and physical environment

  • Ensure optimal clinic locations to support accessibility, growth, and performance

Budget & Financial Management

  • Contribute to the development of clinic-level budgets

  • Continuously update and refine performance forecasts for clinics

  • Follow up on budgets and forecasts in close collaboration with Finance

  • Take ownership of clinic revenue performance, including adjusting opening hours in line with demand

About you

Professional Qualifications

  • Proven experience with remote people management

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action

  • Experience working with KPIs and performance metrics

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Solid commercial understanding

  • Experience managing multiple locations simultaneously

European Lifecare Group is Europe’s largest provider of influenza and travel vaccinations, operating through a network of private vaccination clinics and public immunisation programmes.

We were founded in 1998 under the name “Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service” and expanded to the UK in 2007, where we have acquired several companies and now operate under multiple brands – in Denmark under “Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service”.

We have clinics across most of Denmark and in the UK, and we work with both the Danish and British healthcare systems as a contracted service provider for school immunisation programmes and national influenza vaccination programmes.

Since our founding in 1998, we have vaccinated more than 5 million customers.

Practical information:

Desired start date: As soon as possible

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
