Job Description

As Project Manager you will become part of our existing Agrigenomics team, located in Galten, Denmark, but with responsibility for projects from customers located all over the world, which are mainly larger cooperations, where co-creation is key. You will be placed at our production facilities, with daily and close contact to our laboratories, but also with a role of contacting customers and support them with requests and opportunities, that Eurofins Genomics can offer.

As a part of your daily work you will be the liasons between customers and Eurofins, and  develop project structures and processes – by connection the operation to internal stakeholders, decision makers and applications owners. You will support the Leadership team by providing accurate communication on KPIs, forecasts and other relevant issues; and ensure projects are kept within the correct budget and timeline.

In this position you will play a major role in handling our customer’s projects from start to finish, including planning, logistics as well as managing information flow and process documentation between the customer, the lab and our sales team to align expectations between all partners, but also have a leading role in chasing leads together with the sales team.

Your Primary Assignments will be:

  • To ensure customer satisfaction and deliver data at a high standard
  • Emphasize correct and complete communication between both internal and external stakeholders, including operations, quality assurance, data management, leadership, suppliers and customers.
  • To collaborate with other Eurofins-Genomics divisions and our dedicated Sales Team to ensure projects are running smoothly, including logistics, sample handling, lab processing and data delivery
  • Drive collaboration with the customer and customer contacts and to build a positive and trustful foundation for further development of the business.
  • Project planning and project management – from communication and establishing of new projects in our systems, to delivery of data to the customer and keeping track of relevant KPIs, budget and timelines
  • Develop operational and tactical processes together with stakeholders,
  • Having dialog with the customer about the expected sample deliveries and ensure everything is in place for a smooth execution.

Qualifications

To be a sufficient candidate for this position we expect you to have experience within the molecular and genetics field, having a degree within Molecular Biology, Molecular Medicine or similar. It is an advantage if you have 5+ years of experience within Project Management, ideally with a focus in the Life Science or Agricultural field.

To thrive in this position, you have strong interpersonal skills and you are a great communicator as this role will interface significantly with operations, sales and other internal groups. Additionally, as a person you are flexible, dynamic and structured, as daily assignments and priorities can change quickly during the work day. A solution-oriented approach is a must to face the challenges that may arise during the day.
In other words we expect you to be a teamplayer and have a high focus on quality in your daily work, but still possess the ability to work under sharp deadlines. To have great success in the role, you are not afraid of picking up the phone and offer our services to existing and potential customers, based on leads from sales.

Finally, you have experience with II and project management tools, and good oral and written English skills are important as much of the communication with customers will be in English.

Additional Information

Salary:
A fixed salary and a bonus based on qualitative and quantitative results. Your package will depend on profile, skills and seniority.
