The Role
As one of our highly skilled make-up artists you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience which educates and delights our customers. With your passion for people; our company; products and services, you will ensure that each customer has a unique and inspirational in-store experience. You will walk the customer through the MAC brand's offering and advise products in accordance with the customer's needs.

You will also work as part of a high performing team to create impact with in-store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

You will be reporting to the ELC Department Store Manager.  

The position is a part-time working on average 20 hours per week, based in Magasin Copenhagen.  

More specifically, you will: 

• Be responsible for reaching your individual sales' target
• Provide exceptional and authentic customer experience by finding the right products based on the customer's needs  
• Have ownership over the counter - keep the counter tidy at all times, re-stock the counter and make sure that the visual merchandising is optimal to the brand's guidelines 
• Establish collaborative relationships with your colleagues and your direct manager
• Perform services, participate in in-store events and being of help to your colleagues
• Administer cashiering and ensure customer satisfaction to improve customer loyalty that will add impact to the business' financial objectives

Qualifications

You are the perfect fit if you: 

• Have qualification in make-up artistry/previous retail make up, but we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who are able to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise 
• Have previous retail experience preferably within cosmetics
• Have make-up or other beauty certificates (this is seen as a plus!)
• Are proficient in a Scandinavian language and in English both in verbal and written communication  
• Are able to work independently and in a team in a dynamic environment
• Have the ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events
• Familiar with SoMe platforms such as TikTok and Instagram is a plus
