(Senior) Product Specialist

You might be an experienced product specialist ready to grow or you might already bring a senior perspective from day one. Either way, you’ll lead the product creation process for ECCO’s revitalised Outdoor category that reflects our craftsmanship, comfort and commitment to sustainability.

Be part of something new
As (Senior) Product Specialist, you’ll lead the journey from concept to launch, ensuring ECCO’s outdoor products are developed with precision, achieve performance and commercial goals, and reach the market on time. You’ll collaborate across the value chain, from Design and R&D to Supply Chain and Category Management, with direct access to our in-house facilities to work hands-on with materials and prototypes.

Based at ECCO HQ in Tønder, you’ll be part of a team of colleagues helping build the culture, direction and long-term success of ECCO’s renewed Outdoor category.

Lead Product Creation with Purpose
This is a strategic and execution-focused role where you’ll ensure ECCO develops the right products for the right consumers on time and on target. Your focus is to transform market and consumer insight into action, identifying opportunities and guiding product development that meets both consumer needs and business goals.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the product creation process from concept through development to launch
• Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure products align with performance, cost and margin goals
• Shaping line plans, pricing structures and seasonal assortments based on consumer and market insights
• Monitoring product performance and providing data-driven recommendations
• Supporting cross-functional alignment and go-to-market readiness

Within your first year, you’ll have successfully led the development and launch of key products in ECCO’s Outdoor collection, ensuring they meet performance, cost and margin targets. You’ll have built strong relationships across the organisation, and helped establish smooth, insight-led workflows. Most importantly, you’ll have contributed to collections that reflect ECCO’s values and resonate with outdoor consumers globally and played an active part in making the Outdoor team a great place to work.

You’ll bring strategic thinking and commercial instinct
You’re analytical, hands-on and passionate about creating products that connect performance with purpose. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy connecting design, development, and business strategy.

We imagine you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, product management or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in product, category or merchandising management, ideally in outdoor, sports, or footwear
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into product decisions
• Experience working cross-functionally with Design, R&D, Marketing and Supply Chain
• Proficiency in PLM systems and product data tools, plus solid MS Office skills
• Familiarity with platforms like Power BI, EDITED, Euromonitor or GWI is a plus
• Fluency in English and confidence communicating across teams and cultures
