Do you want to lead ECCO’s climate agenda and help shape how we reduce emissions across our global value chain? As our new Senior Climate Lead, you will be responsible for developing and driving ECCO’s climate strategy, turning data, insights and collaboration into meaningful climate action.

In this role, you will work across sustainability, operations, finance, data teams and external partners to ensure that ECCO meets regulatory requirements, strengthens its carbon accounting and identifies the right initiatives to reduce our environmental impact. You will be the anchor point for climate strategy, climate reporting and climate risk assessment.

You steer ECCO’s transition toward a low‑carbon future
You will be responsible for leading ECCO’s climate direction and ensuring a solid, data-driven foundation for our climate ambitions. This includes: driven foundation for our climate ambitions.

  • Developing ECCO’s climate strategy, setting targets and establishing clear metrics and milestones.
  • Identifying and driving emissions reduction opportunities in collaboration with internal functions. reduction opportunities in collaboration with internal functions.

  • Conducting climate risk assessments and recommending adaptation measures.
  • Representing ECCO in relevant climate forums and managing key external partnerships.

The role includes international travel of approximately thirty days per year.

You combine analytical strength with climate insight
We imagine you bring:

  • A university degree in environmental science, energy or sustainability.
  • Four to six years of experience within environmental or sustainability work.
  • Handson experience with carbon accounting and recognised reporting frameworks. on experience with carbon accounting and recognised reporting frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and data skills, including advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders.

You communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly across cultures and functions, bringing a proactive and structured mindset that enables you to drive initiatives independently.

It is an advantage if you have insight in greenhouse gas inventory rebaselining, data governance, climate related regulatory policies, SBTi target setting, CSRD and TCFD requirements, or experience with Power BI.
